Once you have appreciated voice broadcast as an instrument that could really boost your business and reach your sales targets, it is worth to think about your own voice broadcast campaign. Where to start from? Like all those marketing tips and manuals we will remind you that a skillful plan is a half way to the success.

  • Before creating your voice message, you have to determine and outline your target audience. Calling out for all the people in streets is not good enough. Who makes up your target audience? What kind of people would be interested in your product? What age group, social layer, income level do they represent?
  • Now that you know your target audience, you have to establish the reasons for sending your message. Is it to promote a product, create awareness of some issue, telling your customers about a discount?
  • Each voice broadcast message should contain an incentive.


    You should give your potential target audience a benefit of responding. Otherwise, they just wouldn't bother answering your voice broadcast. By offering your audience a discount you reach two major benefits: you give your audience an incentive to respond to your voice message; you can monitor the success of your campaign, measuring the response rate.

Create and record your voice message according to the plan you created. Record two different voice broadcast messages - one to broadcast to live persons and another one for answering machines. Test your recorded message by playing it to at least 10 people. Consider their critics and see if you can improve the voice message. During this step of implementation you should also check your audience list - if the phone numbers are correct and you have all area codes.

Launch and monitor your campaign. Collect the details of the progress and response rate to your voice broadcast message. It is easy to launch a voice broadcast campaign but it is very important to stay in touch with the progress of your campaign, monitor its results and adjust the voice message according to the effect of your broadcast.
