The popular Scottish cancer charity Maggies Centre has revealed the plans to approach telemarketing techniques in search for new donors.
Maggies cancer charity has set up a new centre in London as a part of an expansion effort. Another 5 charity centres will open in the next four years.
The idea to use cold calling techniques to attract supporters is new to England but has been used by telemarketers in USA.
The basic approach will be to use cold calling in order to find donors near the charity centres. Another campaign will be deployed to contact existing supporters to ask for regular donations.
Although charities and political organizations do not have to worry if telemarketing is legal, the very idea of cold calling to ask for money seems strange, considering that Europe is plagued with telemarketing fraud and Maggies Centres are not yet popular in England.

Yeah, Agree with you. There’s many people will not believe on them because they’re not popular in England.
